Monument of Mickiewicz in Warsaw (Poland)
The monument of Adam Mickiewicz in Krakowskie Przedmieście in Warsaw was unveiled 24 December 1898, in 100th anniversary of the poet's birth. During the World War II the monument was disassembled and carried away by the Germans. It was reconstructed and unveiled once more in 1950.
