Advertising in women's magazines
Before large billboards, radio commercials or television and Internet advertisements appeared, advertisements in daily newspapers were one of the most important forms of persuasion. Information concerning various services and products were placed in widely read newspapers in order to reach the widest possible audience. In addition, they were graphically isolated in special frames and columns, sometimes also decorated with drawings or photographs.
