The Amalfi Coast is located in the southern part of the Sorrentine Peninsula. This is one of the most beautiful regions of Italy, full of charming towns built on steep rocks and winding roads that run on the cliffs. The Strada Statale 163, which is also called the Amalfi Drive or Nastro Azzurro, i.e. the Blue Ribbon, is one of them. It leads from Sorrento to the town of Amalfi and drivers may admire stunning views there. When travelling along these asphalt hairpin roads we also have an opportunity to take a look at luxurious villas and hotels with swimming pools, in which the color of water competes with the deep azure of the sea.
