Canal in Amsterdam (Netherlands)
Amsterdam is the capital and largest city of the Netherlands. It is often called Venice of The North, because of its over hundred kilometers of canals, 90 islands and 1500 bridges. The three main canals (Gentleman's Canal, Emperor's Canal and Prince's Canal) form a concentric belt around the city. Canals also give Amsterdam a direct connection to the Rhine and the North Sea.
