Asenova Krepost (Bulgaria)
Asenova krepost is a medival fortress in the Rhodope Mountains, Bulgaria. It is located on a high rocky hillside, towering above the left bank of the Asenitsa River, not far from the town of Asenovgrad. The best preserved part of Asenova krepost is the Holy Theotokos of Petrich Church from the 12th-13th century.
