Atlanta is a large American city located in the US state of Georgia in the south-eastern part of the country. It was founded in 1845 and part of its rich history was captured in the famous novel by Margaret Mitchell titled Gone with the Wind. Many international corporations, such as CNN, Cartoon Network and Coca Cola, have their headquarters in Atlanta. Among the highest buildings in Atlanta there is the 311-meter Bank of America Plaza. The skyscraper was put into use in 1992 and has as many as 55 floors. After sunset, its top is backlit yellow.
