Autumn in Balkan Mountains (Bosnia and Herzegovina)
The Balkan is the mountain system in the Balkan Peninsula, a part of the Alpide Belt, located between the Danube River and the Black Sea. Close to the town of Mrkonjiĉ Grad in Bosnia and Herzegovina the Balkan created beautiful mountainous landscapes (bergshrunds, valleys, lakes). This part of the Balkan Mountains is particularly beautiful in autumn, when leaves of trees and bushes overgrowing lower summits as well as lakes’ shores are covered with plenty of colors.
