Anatolia is the Turkish historical region, which comprises Cappadocia, famous for its truly lunar landscape formed after the eruption of the three neighboring volcanoes. Its area is dominated by tufa rocks, formed from volcanic ash and sand. Local people drilled underground passages and multilevel labyrinths in them.
