Kołobrzeg is a Polish city located in West Pomerania at the mouth of the Parsęta River to the Baltic. There is a yacht marina, fishing harbor and a seaport serving commercial and passenger functions. Kołobrzeg is also a popular tourist and health resort. There are three bathing beaches. In the vicinity of the waterfront tourists can buy or rent sport equipment and beach accessories, as well as eat fresh fish in one of the many fish bars. Kołobrzeg is often visited by families with children during the summer. Throughout the year, numerous sanatoria are visited by patients who complain about problems with the respiratory tracts.
