Thailand is a country located in the south-east of Asia, on the Indochina Peninsula and partially on the Malay Peninsula. Within the boundaries of that country there are over 500 islands of various sizes, varied topography and natural conditions, however, the breathtaking beauty of the tropical landscape is what these islands have in common. There are deserted forested islands, but also large resorts, golden sandy beaches and rocky coasts. The beauty of the Thai islands has been noticed by many world-famous filmmakers. Such films as The Man with the Golden Gun, Rambo, Good Morning Vietnam or The Beach were shot on the Thai islands.
