The building of the Central Television of China in the shape of a giant gate is a characteristic element of the panorama of Beijing. The 234-meter skyscraper consists of a horizontal structure at the base, two towers and a connector between them over the 36th floor. The towers are inclined towards each other at an angle of 6 degrees. The building is called "a twisted donut with a hole”. It was completed in 2008. CCTV headquarters is surrounded by other modern glass and steel skyscrapers.
