Birthday cake
Birthday cake is a symbol of birthday celebrations in the European culture (the custom of celebrating birthday originates from ancient Rome). It is obligatory to put candles on the birthday cake, the number of which equals the age of a person celebrating his/her birthday. This person has to think a wish and blow out all the candles at once - only then the wish has a chance to be fulfilled. Apart from the birthday cake it is common to give presents to a person who celebrates birthday.
