The botanical garden is located in the center of the capital of Denmark and it is a real treat for young scientists, artists and aesthetes or nature lovers, as well as enthusiasts of long, relaxing walks and outdoor activities. The 10-hectare park belongs to the University of Copenhagen and is also part of the Natural History Museum of Denmark. The Palm House built in 1874 is the landmark of the garden. The fact that visitors may rest directly on the grass is an additional attraction of the garden.
