Bridge between Frederiksø and Christiansø (Denmark)
Christiansø and Frederiksø are small islands located several kilometers from Bornholm, which are the only two islands in the rocky Ertholmene archipelago that are inhabited by humans. The two settlements are connected by a 30-meter drawbridge, so visitors may easily get from one island to the other. In the sound between Christiansø and Frederiksø there is also a natural harbor where cruise ships, yachts and motor boats are moored. Stone buildings on the islands remember the times of King Christian V, who created here a military base for this fleet.
