Čertovka in Prague (Czech Republic)
Devil’s Stream is a blind canal of the Vltava river in Mala Strana, which is the settlement in the capital of Czech Republic – Prague. The peninsula created by the Devil’s Stream and Vltava is called Kampa. According to the legend the name Devil’s Stream comes from a bad woman living some time ago in the neighborhood of the canal, but it is only a legend.
