Červená Lhota castle is situated in the south of the Czech Republic. It is located on a rocky island in the middle of the lake, near the town of Jindřichův Hradec. The fortress can be reached by the 17th-century stone bridge. The roof and walls of the building are characterized by an intense red color, contrasting beautifully with the surrounding greenery of conifers and the blue lake. According to local legends, the unusual color of the facade was supposed to conceal blood stains of a woman killed in the castle by the devil.
