Christmas gingerbread
Sweet-smelling gingerbread shaped as stars is one of the Christmas symbols. Such gingerbread is served not only for consumption, but it is also hung on a Christmas tree in order to decorate it. Gingerbread is most frequently found in the form of small cookies, which are coated with chocolate or icing. In the past the dough for Christmas Eve gingerbread was prepared a month before Christmas, so that its flavor could be shown.
