Colloseum in Rome (Italy)

The Colosseum, originally the Flavian Amphitheatre, is a giant amphitheatre in the center of the city of Rome (Italy). The construction was completed in 80 AD and remained in use for nearly 500 years. It was used for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles.
