Fresh food products provide the largest amounts of vitamins and minerals and their taste is often more pronounced than after using heat treatment. Raw edible plants are not only tasty, healthy and usually low-calorie, but also allow to break the monotony of highly processed meals, which are more and more often dominant in our diet. Encouraging children to taste fresh vegetables and fruits will enable them to get to know new flavors, smells and textures. In addition, the richness of shapes and colors will help to diversify everyday menu and develop healthy habits of the youngest children.
