Curtains of Torun (Poland)
They started to build the curtains in Torun in the 60’s of the seventeenth century. Torun was a city famous for its commerce and it became the military center of the Teutonic Order. Thanks to its importance in Torun, there were brickworks, bastilles, gates and moats. A great part of the fortifications preserved till these days to become one of the tourist attractions of Torun.
