The de Havilland Tiger Moth was a 1930s, two-seat biplane. It was operated by the Royal Air Force and others as a primary trainer. The DH 82A version (also known as Tiger Moth II) was powered by a 130-hp de Havilland Gipsy Major piston engine. The Tiger Moth remained in service with the RAF until 1952.
