Rats are the animals that have rather a bad reputation. Nevertheless, these small lively animals with a charming muzzle can be a true friend of man. Domestic rats are very friendly and sociable, they are also clean as they take care of their fur themselves. A rat cage should be equipped with various types of shelves, hammocks, walkways and large-diameter tubes. They also enjoy playing outside the cage, climbing and wandering around the apartment, and even learning tricks. Unfortunately, rats live only a few of years and are susceptible to various diseases.
