Salad with feta cheese and olives
One of the world’s most popular salads comes from Greece and its basic ingredients include sheep's feta cheese served in one large slice, olives and fresh vegetables: tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and red onions. Today it is served in various forms, often quite substantially different from the Greek original. The traditional horiatiki can be served, for example, with lettuce or Chinese cabbage, favorite sauces, whereas feta is diced. Salad with olives and feta cheese can be easily prepared at home, ordered in most restaurants and even bought in a supermarket.
