The port and beaches on the Greek island of Poros, located off the coast of the Peloponnese, are surrounded by countless taverns where you can taste dishes prepared with fresh fish, as well as local snacks and drinks. Traditional fishing boats regularly sail out to the sea to supply restaurants located on the island. Some boats have been adapted to carry tourists and regularly cruise along the wharf. The port of Poros is also well connected with the mainland and nearby islands thanks to ferry and hydrofoil connections. In the summer season, trips to Ithaca and Zakynthos are organized.
