Cambodia is a country located on the Gulf of Thailand in the Mekong basin. The floating villages are located on Tonle Sap lake, which is abundant in fish, situated in the middle of the country. Houses stand here on high stilts or barrels, because the water level during the rainy season go up to several meters. Residents of the buildings make their living from fishing and in their spare time they repair their boats and nets.
