Frankfurt am Main (Germany)
Frankfurt is located on both sides of the River Main, it is a large city and an important transport hub, financial center and organizer of the largest trade fairs in Europe. Banks and international companies have their headquarters in Frankfurt. The center of the city nicknamed Mainhattan, in reference to the famous New York district, is dominated by modern, high buildings. The highest of them is Commerzbank Tower. This 300-meter skyscraper was designed by the British architect Norman Foster.
