Fruit salad
Afternoon tea made of fresh fruit is a real vitamin bomb. What is more, a colorful and refreshing salad is a perfect alternative to calorific desserts – it satisfies cravings for sweets, but it is healthier than ice cream or cake. A small salad bowl full of tasty pieces of fruit will also work as lunch or after-dinner snack, providing an extra portion of energy during the day. It is wise to use seasonal fruit if you prepare a salad yourself, but we might also use canned or frozen fruit. You only need to ensure a proper balance between sour and sweet ingredients.
