It is difficult to imagine a hot day without fresh cool fruit juice. Drinks on the basis of fruits not only quench thirst but are also tasty and colorful. They have many flavors as we can make juices from almost all available fruits, mix them in various ways, combine with alcohol or freeze. The healthiest are the fresh ones as they retain the majority of vitamins. They should be squeezed from fresh fruits just before drinking. Citrus fruits are best for that purpose, however, their sour flavor could be mixed with sweetness of other fruits. Delicious ice cocktails, so called smoothies, have been very popular recently. They are easily prepared by mixing any fruits with ice cubes.
