Gallipoli is an Italian port town in the region of Apulia, in the southern part of the country. There is the oldest Italian fountain situated in the historic part of the town. It is said to date back to the Greek times. The antique architecture of Gallipoli is the showpiece of that part of Apulia. The town is also famous for colorful festivities and parades, however, the tourists visiting the town will surely appreciate peace and quiet of charming and not very crowded beaches.
