The Ciechocinek brine graduation towers were erected at the beginning of 19th century, in accordance with the project of Jakub Graff, who was the professor of the Science and Technology Academy in Kielce. The construction started in 1824. The longest of the graduation towers is 719m long, and the combined length of the three constructions is over 1741m. All the graduation towers are nearly 16m high. The graduation towers take part in the process of salt production. The brine that is obtained from the source is concentrated, before it is taken to the salt-works.
