Grossglockner (Austria)
The Grossglockner is the highest summit of Austria. It is 3798 m high and belongs to the Crown of Europe. The summit, which is located in the East Alps is the goal of trips for mountain lovers and alpinists. The Grossglockner is located over the picturesque Pasterze glacier, and its tourist attraction is even larger due to its pyramid shape. The summit was reached for the first time in 1800.
