Hawaii Beach (USA)
Hawaii is situated in the North Pacific Ocean, 3700 km from the mainland. Hawaii is the southernmost state of the United States and it would be the westernmost, if not for Alaska. The Hawaiian Archipelago comprises eight islands and atolls extending across a distance of 2400 km. Several television shows, movies, and various other media projects were produced in the Hawaiian Islands, taking advantage of the natural scenic landscapes as backdrops, for example Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park, Waterworld, 50 First Dates, Pearl Harbor and The Lost series.
