Jaguar is a predatory animal from the Felidae family, the largest after a lion and a tiger. Jaguars occur in America (they were even worshiped by the indigenous inhabitants of these lands – the Aztecs and Mayas). Jaguar is similar to a leopard in terms of appearance, however, its behavior is similar to a tiger. Jaguar is commonly considered to be the symbol of speed, beauty and the power of nature. Perhaps for that reason the name "jaguar" was given to a luxurious British make of a car.
