Port on Kalymnos (Greece)
Kalymnos is a small Greek Island inhabited by about 18 thousand people. It is famous for fishing sponges but after the disease of the colony of these simple Parazoa animals the economy of the region has collapsed. However, tourism is still profitable: apart from beautiful views and warm climate, Kylamnos offers numerous climbing routes, Museum of Sponges’ Harvesters or a cruise on the Aegean Sea.
