County Kerry is located in the south-west of Ireland on the Atlantic Ocean. The territory of the county comprises mostly upland and mountainous areas, and despite being located at the very coast of the ocean there are not many sandy beaches or tourist resorts. Instead there are one of Europe’s highest cliffs, which soar high above the ocean level.
