Offspring of animals from the Felidae family is called kittens. A female of cat gives birth from 1 to even 8 kittens at one litter. Kittens are completely blind two weeks after they were born, then they open eyes (most often unequally - one day they open one eye, the other day the second one). Mother feeds her kittens with milk for about 13 weeks. Little kittens due to their vulnerability are commonly perceived as symbols of innocence, love and affection.
