Moraine lake in the Banff National Park (Canada)
Banff National Park was established in 1885 and is located in the Rocky Mountains in the Canadian Province of Alberta. Hot springs, numerous post-glacial lakes and rare species of the local fauna and flora are among the attractions of that part of the country. The mountainous topography and the presence of many natural bodies of water offer numerous possibilities for doing various water sports. There are three skiing centers in the area as well as there are small marinas and camping sites. Kayaking on charming post-glacial lakes gives an opportunity to admire the breathtaking views of mountainous landscapes with spruce forests and green valleys.
