Little Exuma is the second largest island of the Exuma district in the Bahamas. The region is over 200 kilometers long and consists of as many as 365 islands. The two largest islands – Great and Little Exuma – are spanned by a small bridge. Each of the islands is a small paradise on earth – sandy beaches, crystal-clear turquoise water, abundance of fauna and flora and hot tropical climate make the islands of the Exuma district a perfect holiday destination. Little Exuma has an additional attraction in the form of a cotton plantation established by the Ferguson family, which arrived to the island after the American War of Independence.
