Quesadilla is a traditional dish of Mexican cuisine, based on thin wheat or corn tortillas folded in half and baked with cheese inside. In the past a quesadilla was heated on a concave pan called comal. The high temperature made the cheese melt, resulting in stretching consistency, nevertheless, it is important to be careful and not to burn the dish. The ready quesadilla is sometimes cut into smaller pieces, which resemble toasts in their form. This dish is ideal as a snack during the party or addition to a salad made of fresh vegetables.
