Millennium Bridge (United Kingdom)
Millennium Bridge is a suspension bridge for pedestrians, built of steel and aluminium. It links two parts of London, which are located on two banks of the Thames river - Bankside and City of London. The structure built to commemorate the new Millennium was opened in June 2000, however, it must have been closed quickly and rebuilt. The bridge was open again in 2002.
