Bali is an island belonging to the Lesser Sunda Islands. On this Indonesian island, near the village of Kedisan, there is a small active volcano known as Gunung Batur. It reaches the height of 1,717 meters above sea level. Visitors climbing up the volcano can admire smaller craters and lake Danau Batur. Tourists have a chance to eat bananas and eggs cooked directly on the rock for breakfast just on the edge of Gunung Batur, admiring breathtaking, yellow-orange sunrise. The last eruption of the volcano was in 2000.
