Chaukhebi is one of the rocky peaks of the Caucasus, located in the north-eastern part of Georgia near the village of Juta. This village is one of the highest settlements in Georgia and in the winter it is covered with a thick layer of snow and cut off from the world, which is why most of the residents leave their homes and spend the coldest months in the lower-lying countryside. Chaukhebi is not impressive in terms of height, especially when compared to other Caucasian peaks. However, the mountain is not easy to reach. Its steep rocky slopes require a lot of power and precision, even from the best climbers.
