Mountain waterfall
Waterfalls are formed in places where river water overcomes a knickpoint, falling vertically to a river bed located below. A height of a waterfall may range from a few to several meters. The highest waterfall in the world is the 979-meter Salto Angel located in Venezuela. The biggest waterfall in Poland is the Siklawa. Forest cascades are particularly beautiful, when the waters of streams cut into moss-covered stones. Microscopic droplets of water often float above waterfalls, thanks to them we may see a rainbow formed on sunny days.
