The village of Mürren, which belongs to the skiing region called Jungfrau Top Ski Region, is located in the Swiss canton of Bern. The region surrounds the three peaks of Mönch, Eiger and Jungfrau. The enthusiasts of winter sports will find here many skiing slopes with different levels of difficulty, modern ski-lifts, but also hostels, equipment rentals, restaurants and hotels. Mürren is dominated by Schilthorn – the peak that is almost three thousand meters high. There is the famous Piz Gloria rotating restaurant on top of the peak, which is known from one of James Bond films titled On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969). The village has a rail link with the village of Lauterbrunnen, which may be reached by a train or cable railway.
