Oak Canyon Creek against Cathedral Rock (USA)
Oak Canyon Creek is located in northern Arizona. Due to the similarity of the name, it is often called a smaller cousin of the Grand Canyon. This river canyon (at its bottom there is the Oak Creek river flowing) is 19km long, whereas its depth reaches 610m. In the background we may see the characteristic Cathedral Rock massif , which is carved from Paleozoic sedimentary rocks, which go through a long-lasting process of erosion.
