The old temple in Ayutthaya (Thailand)
Ayutthaya is the Thai city located in the delta of the Menam river, about 80 kilometres from Bangkok - the capital of Thailand. The city is the capital of the province of the same name. Ayutthaya came into being in the middle of the 14th century and since 1767 it was the capital of the country. In the city there are the ruins of palaces as well as Buddhist temples. What is more, there are stone monuments of seated Buddha.
