Multi-colored ornamental stones
The color of the mineral depends on its chemical composition and geological processes, which it underwent during a forming process. Mineralogists are able to define a type of aggregate on the basis of its color, whereas experts are even able to determine the place of extraction. The more original color, the higher the value of the stone, which refers not only to precious and semiprecious stones. More common minerals are also used for manufacturing of decorative items and for the interior design and gardens. Multicolored stones can be a decoration themselves, for example, placed in a glass bowl.
