Orthodox church in Bystre (Poland)
Bystre is a village located in the Bieszczady Mountains in southern Poland, established in 16th century. St. Michael the Archangel Orthodox church built in 1902 is the most precious historic monument of the village. The temple, built in the place of the older one from 19th century, was constructed in the national Ukrainian style (it is three-part and has got a framework construction, the roof is covered by metal sheets). Until the middle of 20th century the temple was being slowly devastated, however, it regained the former glamour and is an important tourist attraction of the Bieszczady Mountains.
