Otmuchów is a Polish town located in Lower Silesia in Opole Voivodeship, near the border with the Czech Republic. The 13th-century bishop's castle is the landmark of this medieval settlement located on the trade route between Nysa and Kłodzko. The town has also an artificial water reservoir called Otmuchowskie Lake, fragments of town walls, several historic houses and temples, and a town hall with a 16th-century sundial. Otmuchów is also famous for its confectionery products, which are produced in locally.
