Guangzhou, also known as Canton, is a large Chinese city located in the province of Guangdong on the Zhujiang River – Pearl River. The city is known for its numerous city gardens and parks. They are distinguished not only by well-managed green areas, which the garden staff takes care of, but also a large number of reservoirs. Tourists may enjoy a ride across artificial lakes after renting water equipment on the shore. Small landscape architecture are also noteworthy, there are, among others, stone bridges and decorative garden pavilions, which contrast with modern skyscrapers, towering over the panorama of the city. Small dining premises, stalls with drinks and snacks, as well as toilets, are an additional convenience in the parks of Guangzhou.
